The Community Relations committee's goal is to promote the visibility of advanced practice nurses to consumers and providers.
-We have regularly scheduled meeting time the third Thursday of the month.
- Membership of the committee is ad hoc for various projects; all members are invited to attend meetings, submit project ideas, participate in projects.
- Recent projects include Nurse practitioner week publicity, Art Car Parade, organization brochure, business cards.
- Potential projects under consideration - Habitat for Humanity volunteers, health screening offerings, creation of a public service announcement.
